SBI Holdings Launches On-Chain Tokenized Stock Trading Platform, Integrates DeFi Protocol
BlockBeats News, August 22: Japanese financial group SBI Holdings announced today that it will establish a strategic joint venture with the crypto infrastructure company Startale Group to launch an on-chain trading platform for tokenized stocks and real-world assets (RWA). The platform will leverage SBI's financial ecosystem and Startale's blockchain infrastructure to address the "key market gap" in traditional tokenized stock products.
The upcoming platform is expected to provide 24/7 trading of tokenized stocks, faster cross-border settlements, and fractionalized ownership to meet the needs of global customers. The platform will integrate tokenized stocks with DeFi protocols. Other features include:
· Advanced account abstraction technology
· Institutional-grade custody
· Real-time international compliance monitoring
This business alliance will establish and operate two joint ventures: one focusing on core technology development and the other responsible for branding and business expansion.
