Thumzup is planning a $50 million initial public offering (IPO), with the net proceeds intended to accumulate cryptocurrency and mining equipment.
BlockBeats News, August 11, Thumzup Media Corporation (Nasdaq: TZUP) today announced the pricing of its secretively marketed common stock public offering, as well as a common stock alternative for certain investors - pre-funded warrants to subscribe for its common stock, with a public offering price of $10 per share.
The company expects to receive gross proceeds of $46.5 million from this offering, before deducting underwriting discounts and other offering expenses. The offering is expected to close around August 12, 2025, subject to customary closing conditions. The company plans to use the net proceeds from this offering for exploring cryptocurrency and mining equipment accumulation, working capital, and general corporate purposes.
BlockBeats Note: Donald Trump Jr., son of former President Trump, revealed in July 2025 that he purchased 350,000 shares of Thumzup, worth approximately $3.3 million to $4.3 million, based on a recommendation from an investment advisor. He has no operational or advisory role in the company, serving only as a shareholder.
